Earlier today (30 July), a Mongolian student who studies in the Czech Republic crossed the Altanbulag border crossing after spending 25 days travelling 7800 km alone. For some of the journey, she hitched in an international transit and successfully exited the Russian border; however, she needed to obtain permission to pass over the Mongolian border.

The young woman spent a day at the Altanbulag border crossing because Mongolia has closed its borders in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
