A man from Kazakhstan who entered Mongolia through the Altanbulag border crossing in the north of the country, was confirmed today (24 July) as having the coronavirus infection. The latest victim of the virus works as an international truck driver. So far, Mongolia has reported 288 confirmed cases of coronavirus; all are imported.
Separately, three more Mongolians have fully recovered from coronavirus – bringing total recoveries in the country to 217. The patients have been under treatment in the National Centre for Communicative Diseases between 17 and 48 days, before fully recovering.
