At today’s daily brief by health officials, shocking news has revealed: According to A.Ambaselmaa, Head of the Surveillance Department of the National Centre for Communicative Disease, more than 20 people who has been considered fully recovered from COVID-19 have tested coronavirus positive. For example, a student who was under isolation in a resort after being discharged from the NCCD on 26 June. However, the student was confirmed as having coronavirus again at the third testing before being released from the resort on 9 July. This shows how elusive the virus is.
Therefore, Mongolia needs to keep people in isolation for 21 days in the hospital, then 14 days of observation in resorts. The measure is different than other countries because Mongolia has no local transmissions.
