In the Mongolian VAT Lottery Draw, held on 19 July, 286 people won MNT 1 million each, 29 others MNT 3 million each and four people MNT 5 million. Also, one extremely lucky person has won MNT 30 million with VAT receipt number: 84204283.

Over 30 million receipts were registered between 1 and 31 March.

Adopted by parliament in July 2015, the VAT Incentive Law came into effect from 2016.  According to this law, consumers started to take back money which is equivalent to 2% on products they have purchased. In addition, the shopping public became able to participate in the lottery.
