Deadliest day in 2020: 11 killed in road accidents

Yesterday (9 July) was the deadliest day in Mongolia after 11 people were killed in road accidents. The country of three million is ranked high in the world for deaths resulted by road accidents.

Due to the continuous heavy rain, huge swathesof Mongolia are flooded and many roads have been washed away or damaged. The resultingfatal accidents are as follows:

11.00 a.m. : a 57years-old man died after his motorcycle overturned in Tuv Province.

4:45 p.m. : a 46years-old man died after Hyundai Accent crashed in Bulgan Province.

6:15 p.m. : Seven people died after a Toyota Alphard overturned in Zavkhan Province.

7:30 p.m. : a 58years-old man died in motorcycle crash in Dornod Province

10:25 p.m. : A Nissan Liberty hit pedestrians in Dornod Province killing a woman and her threeyear-old son.
