Earlier today (8 July), the Mongolian Parliament appointed the 17 members of newly-formed Cabinet. Earlier, Mongolian President Kh.Battulga backed the names of the following new ministers:
L.Oyun-Erdene is appointed as Head of the Cabinet Secretariat.
Ya.Sodbaatar as Deputy Speaker
Former Baganuur Mayor N.Tavinbekh as Minister of Energy
State Secretary of the former Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports L.Tsedevsuren is promoted to minister of the same (culture has been separated).
Ch.Khurelbaatar is to remain as Minister of Finance
Deputy Minister L.Khaltar is promoted to Minister of Road and Transportation Development
Head of the Government Agency for Policy Coordination of State Property Z.Mendsaikhan is promoted to Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries
Director of the Institute of History and Archaeology S.Chuluun, (Ph.D) is promoted to the newly-formed Minister of Culture
D.Sarangerel is appointed as Minister of Environment and Tourism. Previously, she was worked as a Minister of Health during the start of coronavirus pandemic.
Director of the State Central First Hospital T.Munkhsaikhan is promoted to Minister of Health
Deputy Minister B.Munkhbaatar is promoted to Minister of Construction and Urban Development
Brigadier G. Saikhanbayar is promoted to Minister of Defence
Kh.Nyambaatar is appointed as Minister of Justice
Chairperson of National Statistics Office Ms. A.Ariunzaya is promoted to Minister of Labour and Social Welfare
Deputy Director of Mongolrostsvetmet (Mongolian-Russian Non-Ferrous Metals) G.Yondon is promoted to Minister of Mining and Heavy Industries
N.Enkhtaivan is appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
