This month, Mongolia will repatriate some 3000 of its nationals with 10 charter flights to Seoul, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Istanbul. So far in July, a total of 855 Mongolians have already returned home on four evacuation flights on 2-7 July.
Today (7 July), some 172 Mongolians were repatriated from Seoul with a MIAT flight.
The national carrier will also conduct charter flights to Istanbul on 9 July and to Seoul again on 15 July.
Mongolia has been repatriating its students, who study in Russia since March.
The very first repatriation flight was to rescue the Mongolian students in Wuhan – the epicenter of what was to become a global pandemic.
