A Mongolian who was repatriated from Kazakhstan has been confirmed as having coronavirus infection at the third test. The passenger tested negative to coronavirus in tests on 11 June and 22 June after having been evacuated from Nur-Sultan in Kazakhstan. To date, 10 of the 216 passengers from Nur-Sultan have been diagnosed having COVID-19.
Therefore, Mongolia’s confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to 230; however, 170 of them – or 77 percent – have recovered.
Currently, 50 people with coronavirus are under treatment in the National Centre for Communicable Diseases; among them is a heavily pregnant woman who is expected to deliver her baby before recovering from COVID-19.
