Turkey donates face shields to Mongolia’s Central Military Hospital

More than 500 plastic face shields have been donated to Mongolia’s Central Military Hospital to support the country’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.  The 3D printed face shields were provided by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) as non-refundable aid to the National University of Mongolia and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.

The country of three million is continuing repatriation of its nationals from pandemic-hit countries. These people are being placed under strict mandatory quarantines of 21 days at the Central Military Hospital. The patients currently at the Central Military Hospital are to be transferred to other medical centres in Ulaanbaatar.
