A new football and athletics stadium opened today (16 June) in the Bayanzurkh District of Ulaanbaatar. The stadium is located just west of the General Authority for Border Protection of Mongolia. The stadium covers an area of 1.8 hectares which were returned to city ownership in 2019.

According to officials, the stadium includes 450-meter-long athletics track with four lanes and 5500 square meters of football pitch, 880 square meters of basketball and volleyball field, 84 meters-long jump track and 1155 square meters of jogging track.
