A Russian national who arrived in Mongolia through the Khyagta-Altanbulag border crossing was confirmed as having coronavirus infection on 8 June. He was among 29 truck drivers who are involved with transit transportation on the Russia-Mongolia-China route. According to health officials, the driver’s conditional is stable. All 29 drivers have been put on 21-days mandatory isolation in Darkhan-Uul Province after crossing the Mongolian border.
So far, Mongolia has 194 confirmed cases of coronavirus; 75 of them have fully recovered.
