The 2021 European Union Visitors’ Programme has been announced with a deadline for receiving applications on 15 June 2020. The European Union Visitors. Programme (EUVP) is an individual study programme for promising young leaders, politicians, staffers, diplomats and opinion moulders from countries outside the European Union (EU) to visit Brussels, Strasbourg and EU capitals. The European Union Visitors Programme (EUVP) was established in 1974 to deepen ties and mutual understanding between the EU and the rest of the world. It is jointly sponsored and administered by the European Parliament and the European Commission.
As guests of the European Commission and the European Parliament, participants receive a five-day study tour in Brussels (and, in some cases also, Strasbourg), where they meet with officials at EU institutions. All programmes are coordinated and arranged by the EUVP Secretariat in Brussels rather than by individual participants. Programmes will be based on individual interests and professional needs as outlined in the application and statement of purpose. Travel, accommodation, per diem costs and health and accident insurance are covered by the EUVP. Depending on their professional interests and timing of the visit, visitors might travel individually or as part of a group.
Travel will then take place in 2021 (the precise date is selected by the participant from the offered list (3-4 dates per month during the year). For more information please visit: https://europa.eu/euvp/en
