Today (29 May), the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia increased to 179 after 18 new cases were reported. According to health officials, the new cases are from 230 people who have just been repatriated from Russia through the Khyagta-Altanbulag border crossings. Upon arrival, they were transferred to Ulaanbaatar by train. These 18 people are aged between 19 and 52; 11 of them are students.

So far, a total of 136 people with coronavirus are under treatment at the National Center of Communicative Disease and 43 people are cured. Also, there are two pregnant women with coronavirus infection.
