A Mongolian cadet who returned from Russia on 13 May has been confirmed as having coronavirus after repeated testing. This brings the total number of cases to 141. The cadet has been under isolation at the National Centre for Communicative Diseases since arrival.
Previously, 56 Mongolian cadets who returned from Russia with him have been diagnosed having coronavirus.
Separately, two more Mongolians discharged from NCCD after having fully recovered from COVID-19.
Out of the 141 COVID-19 cases, all of which have been imported into Mongolia, 28 patients have recovered and 113 people are undergoing treatment at the NCCD.
