Mongolian Government approved a donation of meat worth of USD 1 million to Russia, initiated by Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar. The donation has been taken in consideration of the Russian coronavirus situation and in order for Mongolia to equally treat its two neighbours.

In February, the President of Mongolia Kh. Battulga visited China during its hardest time of the COVID-19 outbreak and donated 30 thousand sheep.

Russia has been supportive of Mongolia during the crisis: recently, Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu ordered two military transport aircraft to fly young Mongolian army cadets back home.

The government has resolved the financing and will organise the aid-delivery by finalizing the issue regarding meat preparation and logistics shortly.
