University graduates are poised to enter one of the most difficult job markets in Mongolian history. Over 22 thousand students are expected to graduate with a university degree this academic year, according to the statistics. They will do so amid soaring unemployment, closed businesses, and the worst global recession in generations.

Just a few months ago, graduates would have been entering a stellar job market and feeling good about their prospects. However, several months of lockdown caused by coronavirus pandemic have resulted in many business closing down.
