Earlier today (18 May), a government-chartered MIAT’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft left for the Indian capital of New Delhi, to bring 170 Mongolian nationals back. The plane left Chinggis Khaan international airport at 09.15 a.m. and is expected to return tomorrow morning at 07.30 a.m.
Earlier, it was reported that nearly 480 Mongolians stranded in India have applied for places on an evacuation flight; 260 of them are children, 164 are students and 21 people with health problems.
