A total of 346 Mongolian cadets studying in the Russian Federation returned home today (13 May). Russian Defence Ministry S.K,Shoigu helped Mongolia to evacuate its students by providing military planes. The students who returned from Russia have a high risk of having coronavirus infection, stated Mongolian health officials. They will be quarantined in the National Centre for Communicative Diseases, the Central Military Hospital, the Baga Bayan military resort, and the Toyoko Inn Hotel.
As of today, Mongolia has 42 confirmed cases of coronavirus; nearly 60 percent of them are imported from Russia and others from 11 countries. Fortunately, 15 people with coronavirus; four of them are foreigners have recovered; however, 27 are still under treatment. Average age of patients is 30 and confirmed cases are aged between 11 and 65. There are two children under age 15 and seven elderly people aged above 50 who fell ill with Covid-19.
