In accordance with a presidential decree, “The National Day of Tree Planting” has been organised since 2010 on the Saturday of second week of May and October every year. This year, the National Day of Tree Planting will fall on 9-10 May.

The Ulaanbaatar City Administration has examined a total of 1884 hectares where the foliage has been burned or eroded by insects for planting trees in 9 districts. In addition, a project entitled ‘Park for Graduation Students’ will be implemented in secondary schools in the Mongolian capital.
