As is well known, Mongolia’s rock sensation, the HU, has been stuck in Sydney, when the band’s Australian tour came to an abrupt end because of the virus. The four members of the HU appear to be in as good spirits as anyone can be stranded so far from home. There are reports that they have been making the most of their time and working on a new album.

Following yesterday’s evacuation charter from Frankfurt to Ulaanbaatar, fake news is circulating that Mongolia’s rock heroes were among the 261 people who were evacuated. Sadly, it appears, this was not the case.

The band missed the chance to return home after Mongolia cancelled all international flights on 28 March. The HU began its Asian tours on 27 February after successfully performing concerts in North America and Europe. Currently, the band members are staying in a cheap apartment provided by Airbnb.
