Mongolian wrestlers have not been able to hold a competition since 27 January when the government banned all sporting and cultural events. Traditional Mongolian wrestlers with ranking titles of ‘hawks’ and ‘falcons’ will compete in a donation match in 3 May. The wrestling will be broadcast live by Unilive 88 and DDISH live 900 at a cost of MNT 6000. The money raised from the online wrestling will be donated to medical workers on the front line against in the coronavirus fight

Mongolia cancelled traditional holiday, Lunar New Year (Tsagaan Sar) which fell on 24 February – one of the key events of the holiday is always traditional wrestling.
