Earlier today (22 April), Mongolian President Kh.Battulga donated medical protective clothing to the National Emergency Commission (NEC). The president bought 5000 items of medical personal protective eqiopment (PPE) produced by the ‘Exclusive’ brand. U.Shijir, Head of the Office of President handed the gift to Deputy Speaker U.Enkhtuvshin, who also heads the NEC.
As of today, Mongolia has 35 confirmed cases of coronavirus; eight of them have fully recovered and the remaining patients are under treatment at the National Centre for Communicative Diseases. In addition, 1222 people are under strict quarantine in isolation centres as well as the 201 doctors and medical workers who are working with them.
More than 2000 civil servants, officers and medical workers are working in a state of advanced emergency readiness under the guidance of the NEC.
