Lockdown imposed in UB and two Mongolian provinces

On Tuesday evening at 8.00 p.m., the National Emergency Commission imposed lockdowns in UB and two Mongolian provinces as a quarantine measure after a transit driver who had travelled to Hungary and back via Russia, tested positive on coronavirus infection.

Road and rail services have been suspended in Ulaanbaatar and Darkhan-Uul and Selenge provinces starting at 09:00 p.m., 21 April; these will be in operation until 06:00 a.m. on Saturday 25 April.

However, transport elsewhere in the country remained unaffected.
