Over 100 countries have evacuated their citizens from around the world since the coronavirus outbreak began. According to the National Emergency Commission, Australia has evacuated its six citizens from Mongolia this week. Furthermore, South Korea has requested to withdraw 200 of its nationals from Mongolia.
As for today, Mongolia has 11 cases of coronavirus infection; 10 of them were among nearly 1000 people, who evacuated from South Korea, Japan, Turkey and Europe. The 57 year-old French man arrived on 2 March was confirmed having coronavirus infection, becoming the first case in Mongolia.
