The Mongolian capital city of Ulaanbaatar has recently started a programme of creating cycle paths; so far, they total 84.7 km. Now the Ulaanbaatar city administration has announced plans for laying an additional 52.8 km bike paths in more locations. The cycle paths will be built according to international standards, with lighting and rest areas every 1.5 kilometer.
Here is a list of the proposed routes of the new cycle paths:
-From Yarmag to the Zaisan suburb
-From the Zaisan Bridge to Marshall
-From the Marshall Bridge to the Bayanzurkh road post
-From the Bayanzurkh road post to Nalaikh District
