Earlier today (6 March), Mongolia isolated two people and put 17 under observation out of the 104 passengers on a flight from Berlin to Ulaanbaatar. The two people, who had symptoms of sore throats, coughing and high temperatures, have been isolated in the National Centre of Communicative Disease.

According to D.Nyamkhuu, director of the NCCD, those people previously isolated on 4 March, has tested negative for coronavirus. Yesterday (5 March), Mongolian health officials took five more people under observation.

As of Wednesday (6 March), there have not been any confirmed cases of coronavirus in Mongolia. Since the outbreak began, the country has tested 256 people negative of coronavirus.
