The Mongolian president has asked parliament to hold a snap session in connection with the coronavirus emergency. However, Parliamentary Speaker G.Zandanshatar, has been invited to visit the USA on 8-10 March. According to sources, the speaker’s visit is expected to be postponed due to the covid-19 outbreak in USA where six people have died.

If the visit goes as planned, then G.Zandanshatar will have to be quarantined for 14 days after returning, which would be highly disruptive for the next session.
