The Mongolian Government has declared advanced emergency readiness and preparation for preventing the killer coronavirus infection in China and 27 countries. Under a decree of the Director of the Mongolian Police Agency and Internal Troops, officers were put on emergency alert on 13 February.

In addition, Mongolia has mobilized a total of 164 police students who live in Ulaanbaatar for ensuring public security and transport control. The mobilization came into effect on Thursday 20 February.
