Earlier today (11 February), the Emergency Commission of Khuvsgul Province declared an emergency situation after a person was isolated with a suspected infection of coronavirus. The person in question is in quarantine in Murun, which is the provincial centre.
In order to prevent the spread of the deadly infectious disease, the provincial administration decided to close all bars, karaoke and other night clubs where alcoholic beverages sold and where people congregate in close proximity. This ban will be in force until 2 March.
In addition, food and clothes markets will be closed for two days on 11-13 February for sterilization and disinfection.
As of today, there are 43101 registered coronavirus cases: 1,018 deaths and 4,043 cured patients in China and other 25 countries.
