Mongolian baritone E.Amartuvshin has been nominated as the 8th ‘Opera Star’ at the International Opera Awards.
The Awards, considered opera’s answer to the Oscars, celebrate achievements in opera around the globe over the last calendar year in a wide range of categories.
Founded in 2012, the Awards aim to raise the profile of opera as an art form, to recognise and reward success and to generate funds to provide bursaries for new aspiring operatic talent from around the world.
Thirty three-year-old E.Amartuvshin, is no stranger to success in international award awards, having won recognition at events in Moscow, Beijing, and, most notably, the Audience Prize at the 2015 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition.
