The Mongolian Cabinet on Monday closed all the border crossings with China to prevent the spread of a new viral disease. The crossings are now closed  to vehicles and pedestrians.

So far there are no confirmed cases in Mongolia of the coronavirus that first appeared in the central Chinese city of Wuhan and has now spread to at least a dozen countries.

Nearly 300 Mongolian citizens who are stuck in China returned today (28 January) by buses specially provided by Ministry of Road and Transport Development.
