The Ulaanbaatar Winter Festival will take place for the 10th year at at the Sky Resort on 8-9 February. The event is organized by the Capital City Government, Capital City Tourism Department, and professional winter sports associations.

The annual event aims to promote beautiful Mongolian winter, customs, and the unique culture of Mongolia to the world, as well as  pass down the traditions and customs to the younger generation, and promote the development of extreme sports and winter tourism to the residents of Ulaanbaatar in addition to giving them an opportunity to enjoy the weekend with their families.

Ulaanbaatar Winter Festival is expanding to gain international status with more and more local and foreign tourists coming for it. This year’s festival program features knuckle-bone shooting and archery contests, entertainment events, fashion show of national costumes, ski race, sled dog race, snowboard race, and ice climbing and snow rugby competitions.
