Many fish were found dead near the Songino Bridge ten days ago. Water from the area of the Tuul River where the fish were found has been sent to the State Specialized Inspection Agency for analysis.

The water was said to have appeared greenish, leading some to suspect the water may have been contaminated by waste from leather factories. That’s what happened in 2007, when fish in the river were killed by pollution that resulted in an oxygen deficiency in the river.
