There is good New Year news for travellers: Mongolia’s national flag carrier MIAT has discounted ticket prices by 15-37 percent to four busy destinations, namely:
- The flights between Ulaanbaatar and Seoul have been discounted by 32-37 percent with the cheapest two-way tickets being sold at MNT 864,900.
- The company is offering tickets discounted by 35 percent to-and-from another S.Korean destination, namely Busan The cheapest round tickets are being sold at MNT 773,800.
- The flights between Ulaanbaatar and Hong Kong have been discounted by 44 percent and the cheapest two-way tickets costing MNT 1,035,800.
- Return tickets of flights between Ulaanbaatar and Berlin will be discounted by 20 percent, but only available on Sundays starting from 19 January. The cheapest tickets will cost MNT 2.061,500.
Currently, ‘MIAT’ operates one domestic and 12 international destination with Boeing 767 and Boeing 737 jet airliners. MIAT has begun flying to Shanghai on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In addition, MIAT will fly to Osaka (Wednesday and Sundays), Guangzhou (Thursdays and Sundays) and Frankfurt (Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays) starting this summer.
