It is reported that the famous surgeon J.Chinburen, who was head of the National Cancer Centre (NCC) resigned from his post on 31 December, 2019.  According to our sources, J.Chinburen aims to stand in the parliamentary election which takes place this June. N.Erdenekhuu, professor at Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences has been appointed as new head of the NCC in his place.

Recently, N.Erdenekhuu has been working on a the joint construction project of the Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital; he is highly experienced in hospital management.

J.Chinburen was awarded by Mongolia President Kh.Battulga with the title of state-honoured doctor order right before New Year.
