The Mongolian National Police Agency and Internal Troops will work under emergency readiness for preventing crimes and protecting citizens during New Year celebration. The state of emergency readiness began on 30 December, 2019 and will continue until 2 January, 2020.

A total of 89 police stations, 112 department and 43 divisions  nationwide are currently all on alert.
