Mongolia basketball players’ performance has been included in a list of the 10 best FIBA 3×3 moments in 2019 named by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

“They play with pride, passion and purpose which was brilliantly illustrated at the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup when they incredibly hit four Tissot buzzer beaters on the same day,” it says, while mentioning that Mongolia’s men team won over Lihuania and South Korea and women’s team defeated Germany and Uganda at the competition.

Separately, the women’s team qualified for the Summer Olympics in November and the men will be competing for their spot at international competitions in March or April.
