From now on, type O Mongolian visas for foreign citizens arriving upon invitation from NGOs and international humanitarian organizations can be issued online. The move is part of the national ‘e-Governance’ programme and the ‘Online Immigration’ project by the Mongolia Immigration Agency.

Currently, foreign arrivals can obtain J (tourist), B (business), A (official), S (student), and single and multiple-entry business visas online. Since putting the online service into operation, the agency has settled applications for visa types J, B, A, S1, S2, as well as multiple-entry visas of over 5,000 citizens.
