The Inner Mongolia University has opened its first Mongolian language training course using traditional vertical script in Hohhot, the capital of northern China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The 10-day training course is sponsored by the departments of finance and education in the autonomous region and undertaken by IMU’s School of Mongolian Studies. Almost all of the trainers come from Mongolia.
University officials noted that, based on previous strong cooperation and exchanges between IMU and teaching and scientific research institutions at all levels in Mongolia for many years, IMU has organized the traditional-script Mongolian training course.
At the ceremony, Professor Baasanbat from the National University of Mongolia made a speech on behalf of the trainers and expressed his high expectations for the training course.
