A few private schools in Ulaanbaatar have student pick-up services. Now, thousands of students in rural districts will benefit from school bus services which start work today (14 November). According to the Ulaanbaatar City Administration, a total of 40 buses will ferry nearly 3000 pupils from 27 secondary schools twice a day.
The school buses will contribute in decreasing Ulaanbaatar’s traffic jams because parents will no longer have to take their children from school or collect them at the end of the day.
