Russian Film Week started with ‘Russian Renaissance’ on Wednesday at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Ulaanbaatar. A total of 11 Russian modern films, such as ‘The Bribe’ by Alexey Kharitonov, ‘Void’ by Darya Gratsevich and ‘Meat Grinder’ by Vladislav Bakhanovich, will be screened during the film week.

The event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol when the combined forces of the Soviet Red Army and the Mongolian Army defeated the Imperial Japanese Army.
