Earlier today (7 November), the Mongolian National Front movement organised a short demonstration on the side of Sukhbaatar Square calling for parliament to be dissolved. However, the movement was ordered to change the date of demonstration by the Ulaanbaatar city administration because official events on the square have to be approved in advance.
Subsequently, the protesters staged the event on the east side of the square, blocking the road and causing the traffic jam. According to the organisers, over 70 social organisations participated in the demonstration.
