As of the end of 2019, Turkish Airlines will be cutting its flights between Bishkek and Ulaanbaatar. However, the company has just revealed that they are launching nonstop flights from Istanbul to the Mongolian capital.
Turkish Airlines operates to more countries than any other airline in the world, and one of those countries is Mongolia. However, you cannot fly directly, unless, of course, you’re coming from Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, Turkish Airlines flies from Istanbul to Bishkek and from there to Ulaanbaatar. The new 4,000-mile direct flight will operate three times a week using a 737-800 aircraft. (Source: one mile at a time)
