Earlier today (25 October), a demonstration today was held on the west side of State House demanding the resignation of D.Sarangerel, the minister of health. The participants held signs and shouted slogans such as: ‘infant mortality is increasing!’ and ‘where are the apartments for local doctors that you promised?’.

Five months ago, parents demonstrated demanding that the health minister took responsibility for the outbreak of tuberculosis in secondary schools in Ulaanbaatar and did the honourable thing by resigning.
