Mongolia is experiencing a long and warm autumn with daily temperatures in most parts of the country of 2-10 Celsius.

However, the night temperature fell to -25 Celsius in Khatgal, the administrative centre of Khuvsgul Province on 22 October. Up to 23 cm of snow has been reported in Khank, in Tsagaannuur Soum of the same  province.
