News.mn reported yesterday about a single mother of four children who lives in ger district of Ulaanbaatar and who needs financial support. Following this coverage, earlier today (18 October), Mongolian Peacekeepers from the National Emergency Management Agency presented a ger (yurt) to D.Tsetsegbadam and her four children who are aged between 4 and 12.
The 27 peacekeepers who have recently returned from South Sudan contributed their own money and bought the ger, without which D.Tsetsegbadam’s family would not be able to survive the Mongolian winter where temperature fall to -40C.
According to NEMA psychologist N.Dosjan, the peacekeepers have set up a Charity Fund and support someone who needs help every year.
