The Mongolian Immigration Agency reported on Thursday (17 October), that tourist arrivals in the country have increased by 59 percent. A total of 2374 people have been issued with tourist visa for 30 days or more at border crossings through 118 tourism agencies since January, 2019. This year, a new border crossing opened in Sumber Soum in Dornod Province.

Separately, the number of foreign students studying in Mongolia increased by 28 percent.
