Mongolian Energy Minister Ts.Davaasuren has held a meeting with Francesco La Camera,  Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). The two met on 12 September on sidelines of the 24th World Energy Congress. During the meeting, Mr. Ts.Davaasuren introduced the project of constructing the Northeast Asian Energy Grid at initiation of Mongolia.

Mr. La Camera expressed his support to Mongolia in the Northeast Asian Energy Grid project and promised to cooperate in the project.
