M.Tsevelmaa, a 23-year-old doctor has been crowned Miss Mongolia after fending off competition from dozens of other models. The beauty contest was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Ulaanbaatar on 15 September.

The newly-crowned ‘beauty with brains’ will represent Mongolia at the 69^th Miss World which is scheduled to be held in London on 14 December.

M.Tsevelmaa graduated from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences in June and was due to start working as a medical doctor.
