The Mongolian Police Anti-Narcotics Department has conducted special operations in nightclubs located in the Bayangol and Chingeltei Districts of Ulaanbaatar. A total of 24 people, including a woman and two German DJs, were arrested for using drugs and possession. According to the police, those arrested were aged between 21 and 41.

The Mongolian Police reported that 130 people have been investigated over 67 drug-related cases since January 2019; more than 80 percent of them are young people aged between 18 and 35.
